Pour & Sip is a new postal subscription for whisky newbies and connoisseurs alike. The branding needed to look approachable, but refined enough to sit proudly on a collectors shelf.
I decided to use inky sketchbook illustrations to accompany the brand identity to be used as friendly devices, giving the feel of tasting notes being made by the taste tester.

I designed and implemented this new illustration style for Darkness Whisky to elevate their brand. As the product goes through a complex process, Darkness needed a clear and concise way to show a step by step.
The style was inspired by rough print making, a nod to the hand crafted elements in the process.

I was tasked with illustrating 8 cocktails for Maker’s Mark’s 3 month festive event at German Gymnasium King’s Cross. These illustrations were printed on placemats in the shape of the Maker’s Mark winter jumper, along side a description of the cocktail.

I was lucky enough to be asked to design and hand paint nine murals for Edrington-Beam-Suntory as part of the new Rack Shack sports bar in London Hilton Metropole.
Designing these on brand was a welcome challenge.

My first job with Naked Grouse was live drawing on 5 large wall panels at their exciting relaunch in King’s Cross London, hosted by Black Leaf Events. (Standing on a ladder drawing for 5 days fuelled by Naked Grouse: risky!)
I was then commissioned again by Naked Grouse’s brand manager to illustrate 12 London Cocktail Bars, as part of a brand activation campaign in which each bar was gifted a Grouse kit including an artwork of their bar.
Map designed for London Cocktail Week and bars featuring Edrington serves. Commissioned by Black Leaf.
More drinks!
These illustrations were commissioned by Black Leaf Events to sit in their “Stay Home” cocktail guide. This document was sent digitally to bartenders and home drinkers as a bit of a distraction from Covid-19 lockdown!
Commissioned by the new University Centre Hastings for their launch, I was asked to create a fully illustrated cover for their prospectus and provide lettering for title pages throughout. The drawings were then used for bus stops, event stands and a giant deckchair… obviously.
